Jive talkin'
2007 Grammy nods are out. I really hope Justin doesn't win one. Nothing against JT, but FutureSex/LoveSounds totally sucks as an album. Its much worse than Justified, which I was totally disappointed with considering I think JT has a lot of potential as a stand alone artist. But at least with Justified, you could listen to the songs over and over without wanting to kill yourself. Listen to the opening bars of Sexy Back and I dare ya not to gag...
I hope John Mayer wins everything he was nominated for... ok, maybe he could lose one... it would serve him right for going out with that bimbo Jessica.
I hope The Fray win one for "Over My Head"... that is such a great song.
Why aren't Scissor Sister nominated for Best Dance Recording?!?! "I don't feel like dancing"! Hello?? Can you say 'quintessential dance track'? ... maybe they missed the cut....
Why isn't Gavin DeGraw ever nominated for anything? I feel like he's that overlooked artist who's incredibly passionate about his stuff and yet doesn't get any credit for it... Download "Belief" and tell me he doesn't deserve a Grammy...
Pray with me, people, that The Killers will get their Grammy this year. When You Were Young is such a great song. Its no 'Blame it on the boogie', but its up there... They should have been nominated for the album too... Sam's Town is killer... no pun intended.

Oh no how come you didn't like JT's Futuresex\Lovesounds? It's much more decent than justified, i hated my life when i bought it! I can't wait to see him performing though.
Fingers crossed sis for The Fray .. They do deserve some attention along with James Blunt; I've got a feeling he'll win.
I don't know about album’s freaky names hampering their success, I mean check out Sellout Stefani’s Love Angel Super Seraphim I’m Too Cool For School Darling.
I have a strong aversion to most modern pop in general and boy bands specifically so I never got on the Timberlake Train, but after seeing this I am willing to consider. The hair, the facial hair, the clothes, the jewelry, the song. Comic Gold.
I don’t really care about the Grammys because I’m not into the current music scene.
Although I hope the Scissor Sisters do well cos adorable plus dancey! And that James Rhymes with C*** eats everyones dust.
i actually sorta loved Justin's album.. anything Timbaland is coo :p
and i TOTALLY agree with u when it comes to Gavin DeGraw.. and it's not just "Belief"!
what about "Overrated"?! or "More Than Anyone"?!
how about his whole "Chariot: Stripped" album!? lol
I second the Mayer comment. I always thought he's good, but he went above n beyond with his latest album.. did you catch Slow danicng in a Burning Room-- the live version with some Jazzy instruments? (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MnKdz60H8VI) It's one of those rare songs that just.. make you smile.
excuse me, I meant Blues. Been a while since I listened to it, and I recalled a saxophone.. guess not.
wow... I didn't know there were so many JT fans out there... I'm sorry... I stand firmly by my opinion... but I'm sorry :P
trevelyana John Mayer is amazing.... Continuum is good but I wouldn't say its his best... I'm really starting to think that he only really gets his messages across when he's live.. I don't know.. I don't like the way he gets a bit diluted on records... Oh and Slow Dancing in a burning room is beautiful... I don't know where he gets this imagery... it sure as hell ain't inspired by Jessica Simpson! .... :/
