A New Addiction ...

... I just can't sweat out.

Is it just me or do they sound freakishly similar to Fall Out Boy? Same feeling, similar vocal inflections... hmmm, I smell a copy cat, but a pretty damn good one if that.

"When I say shotgun, you say wedding. Shotgun. Wedding. Shotgun. Wedding."

That is a really good line right there. You know how sometimes you hear a line in an OK song and it just brings the whole song to life? And suddenly the whole song gets better? Well, that's the line that did it for me.

A lot of people say they sound like Fall Out Boy, including me at first. Then after a while from listening to their music I realized they're different.

& probably people say they sound like Fall Out Boy cause Pete singed them to his label company I think.

They are so catchy aren't they? I didn't wanted to like them but they're so awesome I can't resist liking them =P

Ohhh I love these guys. I'm not sure too sure about their staying power. However I can't front they sounded great when I saw them live.

Man great layout. I must admit, the last one wasn't as legible *thumbs up*

SHOTGUN SHOTGUN :-p

I stopped reading your blog because I couldn't read it.

Back now. :)

Panic! At The Disco is the first band signed to Pete Wentz's (Fall Out Boy) Decaydance Records, a Fueled By Ramen imprint label. So you can only imagine the influence of style when it came to recording their album.

Personally, Panic! > Fall out Boy.
I can't stand the way their lead singer looks.

Other great bands with similiar 'genre':

I don't blame you, their songs are addictive, reminds me of summer in Kuwait.

btw, cool layout :)

what up with those bands? i don't see what anyone sees in them?

these bands Blahhhh....

OY! Solar! Get with the program, Panic! is cool!

Their tunes are catchy and addictive because they're not about the irreversable quality of time *snooze* or the surreal flavor that life has taken on *horror* or Bush's foreign policy *gasp*

The songs are fun, pure unadulterated fun. No subliminal meaning, no hidden, encrypted messages.. just strikingly melodious intonations that somehow manage to subdue ur ear canal... :)

will I still think they sound pretty similar although I would venture to say that Panic is the darker more melancholy side of Fallout Boy..

mia Me so jealous... :(

erz merci :D

adorra WEDDING! WEDDING!

KtheK welcome back! :D

.. and I never doubt ur taste in music ;)

CP thanx :>

solar refer to above :P
